It is therefore the objective of SpineDeck to provide a therapeutic back stretching device which overcomes the shortcomings of present devices. The device specifically stretches and relaxes the muscles in the lumbar section of the spine, as well as concomitant muscles such as abdominal muscles.

The device includes an original base constructed from a strong yet lightweight plastic material. Then the base has two sides, a blue foam cushion and an insert. The first end is meant to be located perpendicularly lower on the users back is slightly wider than the second and located perpendicularly higher on the users back.

It is a further objective of SpineDeck to provide a therapeutic back stretching device and a method of using the same, which safely and effectively stretches the muscles in the lumbar section of the spine.

The base has two opposed ends with a plurality of spaced parallel slots between which is selectively fit and arched insert. The insert is being formed from a lightweight flexible material and includes a blue foam cushion to accommodate the spine of the user. Assembly

Step 1 Position the wide end of the base closest to you on a flat surface.	Step 2 Slide the wide end of the top piece into the single slot of the wide end of the base. Carefully, but firmly press down the narrow side of the top piece with your fingers, to create a slight bend in the arch support and carefully slide the narrow end of the top piece into the desired level position on the base.	Step 3 To adjust to a different level, place the SpineDeck with the wider side in front of your knees and push the top part into a higher level, as needed.

How to use

Step 1 1. Sit on the floor and place the stretcher behind you so that the wider end is closest to you and your back is against the stretcher.	Step 2 2. Slowly lie back onto the back stretcher with your knees bent.	Step 3 3. Centre your spine on the blue foam cushion designed to protect your spine and provide extra comfort.	Step 4 When you are finished with your stretch, please roll onto your side and of the back stretcher. Do not stand right up. Set up gradually and rest for 30 seconds before standing. This will allow the blood to move back down from your head, to your heart.
