- INSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: Inside mount require a minimum 2" window frame depth, the roller shades width must be 1/4" (the mounting space) less than the window width. For example, if your window is 35.75" wide by 42" high, the shade should be 35.5"W by 42" H, you need to select the closest size 35" W x 44" H to place order, then leave your WINDOW exact size and mouting type, we will make the shade to 35.35" Wide ( total shade is 35.35"W, shade actual fabric is 34.25"W ) by 42" High.
- OUTSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: The shade width and length should be 3" to 10" wider than window for better coverage. You need choose the exact SHADE width and height to place order. For example, if your window is 40.75" wide by 58" height, the shade should be at least 44"wide and 63" high, you need to select the closest 44" W x 64" H to place order. We will make no deduction, you will get the exact shade size you ordered 44"W by 64"H. For outside mount, if there is enough space, the bigger the better.
- SHIPPING: WE DO NOT DELIVER TO PO BOX and APO ADDRESSES. Courier companies do not deliver to PO boxes and the shades are to long for Post, so provide your delivery address. MOUNT TYPES:
Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 1/4" to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2 inches for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches please select outside mount.Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting.Our shades come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware for both inside mount and outside mount
INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as your inside width when ordering.
Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.
OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.
Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.
